I purchased a gateway MX8711 in Aug of 07. I started having problems with laptop shorty after the 1yr warranty expired. At the 1yr, I contacted Gateway and as to purchased an extented warranty. I was told because I purchased the pc at Home Depot, they would not sell me extented warranty. Shorty after warrenty was up I took laptop to one of the best pc shops in town.
