This camcorder has ccd issue, the camcorder just shows a black screen when you try to record. Sony says its image sensor (CCD) had a extended warranty for this issue, We did not get any email/postal mail regarding this while we get all other Sony promotions for new sales. when I have this issue now and ask them to repair, since it is a known problem with almost all of their Camcorders, Sony says they'll charge me 227$ and ask me to ship to Laredo Texas, where they have their service department.
