Maytag in its infinite wisdom has trippled the cost of the control pad in the last 3 years. Probably since they burn out so easily. I have had to replace mine twice in 3 years. Now they have eliminated the 4 dollar door latch and you have to buy the whole latch assembly and electronics, for 28 dollars. They have also redused the warranty from 1 year on parts to 90 days so the parts dealer tells me. Do not buy this junk, please. read full review »
