I called this store to inquire about a pair of shoes in my size. They indicated that the size I was interested in was not available in their location. When I asked them to call another location to see if the size was available elsewhere, the person I spoke with said "We generally don't do that for sale merchandise". Not sure why, because even on sale, the shoes were over $100. But I suppose for Barneys, that "trivial amount" is not worth their time?
