There is only ONE THING WORSE THAN DACOR PRODUCTS, it is DACOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. We bought our 1st coffee maker (for $2, 700) in the summer of 2006. It lasted approximately 6 months and, after several attempts at repair, and much wrangling, arm-twisting and hours spent on hold trying to speak to a customer service agent, the unit was replaced, after being usable approximately 6 out of 12 months.
