I purchased Emerson's 1.1 cu. ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave Oven, on Jan. 22, 2010 and because the faceplate started cracking (plastic) had to return it 31 days later. On Feb. 23, 2010 I decided to purchase the next smaller Emerson microwave version with the hopes that it was a better product. This one didn't even last 30 days. The same defect has already started to occur, the faceplate is cracking.
