After seeing a patient as an "out of network" provider, patient paid cash but decided to bill their insurance for reimbursement. Again I am not a provider for the network and never agree to anything but a fee for service agreement. As expected the insurance company denied payment but some how Beech Street (for which I am a provider) got involved and are saying that because the insurance company works with them, I have to refund the money.
