Dish Network has TERRIBLE customer service! I sold my house and moved to an apartment - this was the only apartment they had available! BUT it does not face in the direction that will allow signal from my Dish, so I needed to cancel it. Well, after calling to cancel, I was notified by "customer service" that I had 19 months left on my contract and the cancellation fee was $255!! They would not negotiate, or allow me to pay monthly!
