I have been with chase for almost 6 years. Until 21/2 years ago my husband and I made our payments on time he was laid off and we fell months behind. We did a loan modification and at the end of the modification we were requested to pay the 2 months we were behind plus the 3 months on the modification at once. Well being that my husband was laid off and my salary was not enough to make the payments on my own we had to file chapter 13.
