I called Verizon Wireless to cancel service in January 2010. Was talked into just suspending my account. I was no longer under contract with Verizon. The agent convinced me to just to into suspended mode without billing...meaning that I would not be billed for 90 days. I called near the term of that period of time and was told that I had another 90 days I could leverage. I just wanted to cancel the service and not try to remember when to call back, but was once again convinced that it would be a good thing to just keep it suspended. Well now I... read full review »
