I purchased a John Deere NA 115 garden tractor from Home Depot on 5/23/10. My Wife cut the lawn that weekend without issue. It's about an acre and flat. This weekend, she went to start the mower and thick white smoke came bellowing from it. She got me and we tried restarting with the same result. I looked under the hood and found black oil coming from from the exhaust. It was all over. Not good! I called Home Depot and they told me to call John Deere service.
