My credit card account was with WaMu (Washington Mutual) which now has been taken over by CHASE BANK USA. What happened honestly in my case is that I, a disabled senior became ill and before my husband drove me to the ER, I paid some of our bills that would be due at the 1st of the month and made a payment to WaMu, but apparently didn't press the enter key.
