I have been a customer with AT&T for years, my account has always been in good standing. I called AT&T to let them know that I would be canceling my service. I was no longer under contract but I wanted to be sure that there would be no disconnect fee's and I also asked of there was anything that I should do with my account prior to disconnecting. I also asked if I would receive a refund for the unused portion of the month which I had pre-paid for.
