I haven't shopped at a Best Buy store in almost three years. I stopped shopping at their stores when they lost a six week old laptop I took in for repairs under the purchased extended warranty. The lost laptop cost $1400.00. They would only replace it with a new laptop valued at $1000.00 because I had used the lost laptop for six weeks making it a used laptop. In their opinion, when they lost the six week old laptop, they also lost the extended $300.00 warranty that covered it.
