I recently purchased equipment from the UK for a project that my company was running. The equipment was needed urgently, so the supplier shipped it on an express two day delivery with DHL. We paid £ 119.50 for the shipping (around R 1630) of a parcel, which weighed less than 10 kg. Wednesday morning the 19th of August (seven days after the parcel was collected in the UK) it arrived at 7h45. We had to rent equipment at an additional cost of R 550 per day due to this delay.
