We are a broker that submitted a loan to this company for a Goldmine project. Tom Mackenzie offered terms that were too good to be true; 9% - 10 yr due in 5 with no points. He then gave us an engagement letter and requested due-diligence money. Once I got the package I searched the internet for complaints. I saw a plethora of complaints about him and then asked him if I could get a few references. He then immediately canceled the loan.
