I have a wage garnishment for the IRS of $100 a month since 5/6/10. My paychecks have been deducted $50 bi-weekly. I received a phone call from the IRS on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 stating I was in default. The IRS has not received one payment from my company since May. I contacted my company and was told I did not work there anymore (resigned Aug. 12, 2010)and that he was not going to take my word. He wanted proof that the money was coming out of my check.
