I entered this program ove a year ago to try to get out from under some of our debt. My husband was about to have heart surgery and i had two surgeries during 2009 also. We have insurance, but we still didn't know how much we were going to have to pay out of pocket so I knew we would not be able to handle all of the bills. This was one of the reasons I did this, but the other was the amount of interest I was being charged.
