Maytag washers and dryers will burn you house down. Wiring harness will catch fire. Mine almost did. Thank God I caught it in time!!!Maytag will do nothing because the washer is two years old. I have had Maytags for 20 years without a problem. Mine was a bucket of rust after two years. Please stay away from maytag. Model MTW5740TQ Lowes stores know about the problem and will do nothing and continue to sell them!!! Maytag service does not exist. They will try everything not to help you with your problem.
