I hired Shelli Van Lines to move my entire apt into my new home 7 miles away. I gave the company rep a detailed list of items I needed moved ( furniture, tv's, computers, boxes, etc) They quoted me $700 and stated it was a flat rate for all the items I listed and included cost for truck, 3 men, and all equipment. However, when they showed up to move me the forman had a list of extra charges ($3.50/roll tape, $45/per TV, $15/per mattress, etc) I stated it wasn't in my quote.
