Through their use of Ameriquest Mortgage (now bankrupt) I was charmed into a loan that I did not understand at the time. I feel taken advantage of and know that if I understood then what I do now, I would never have signed the paperwork. I have made almost $80, 000 worth of payments on a $100, 000 loan, and my principle has only come down $5, 000! My interest rate is a whopping 7.9%!
