I placed an order for a Sony mini-audio system. Their web site showed that the item was IN STOCK, so I thought that I would have it within a few days. The next day I received a message from customer service telling me that the item was on backorder but should be in "soon." I checked the web site just to make sure it had said IN STOCK and sure enough, it still said they had it.
