I've been getting a 10% veteran discount at Home Depot and Lowe's. Now Home Depot will only give the discount to active duty, retirees and disabled. No more discount to those of us who just did our time and got out. They will NOT honor our Department of Veteran's Affairs card which proves our service. There is a posting of this notice by the check out lanes. So, I told them to just put the stuff in my cart back on the shelves, and I walked out. Lowe's is still giving the discount and I was told: "If you served us, you deserve our discount." Guess where I'll be shopping? read full review »
