I am extremely unhappy with Sears Carpet cleaning and their bait and switch tactics! We recently hired Sears in Alexandria, Virginia, to clean my 1 bedroom condo for $164, which seemed like a fair price. The cleaners briefly inspected the condo and said that it would require a deep soil treatment for $150. I authorized the cleaning believing that they would have to do a great deal of additional work, and also trusting Sear's good name. Well, they finished in 45 minutes!
