Purched a samsung 67" led dlp tv back in feb. 2009. One of the reasons was the 3D ready option on this tv. I knew at some point movies and 3D would be available and I wanted a tv that would be ready for this technology. The presenter on the shopnbc show advised that this was a 3D ready, not 3D capable which means the emitter is built into the tv. He advised that when samsung had the download available we who purchased this tv would be able to go to samsung.com, download the technology from our computer to our tv.
