Im writing this complaint in behalf of the whole Orkin company... Back in July 8th of 2010 iI meet a Orkin Branch manager {pinellas country area} we talked and joked for about 30 minutes, I asked him if they're hiring.. With a huge smile he said always, , gave me his card, , told me to call him for a pass code online to do an application...I was fired up, .. we talked about training, , classes you name it.. Well, , lets see now... The deli life, must say not fun..Deli deptments always have there problems, yes, , we all know deli life is not easy at all... We never have many workers behind that counter when it comes down to it.. Just make sure you {deli dogs} sell that BOARS HEAD no matter how many customers are waiting...Deli departments, , what fun indeed... Hello! Me again, , I see this happening time and time again... Part time workers, , , working 40 hours, but that are not full timers and are told they CAN NOT get full time... I KNOW, from witnessing this in stores.. There are part time workers who have been with our company for many years who want full time, don't get it, but are getting 40 hours every other week...Why is that??.. Agree 100 percent, This company is losing Mr. George Jenkins VALUES! class action lawsuit... count me in...even them white tokens??? huh, what happen? that was the old publix way of sayin thinks for a job well done and handing it to us the workers..., now no more??? why??? we, who work there are the OWNERS right?? isnt that what they told us when we got hired??
