In october 2008, i signed up for a $99./mo special being ofered by verizon and direct tv. After several billing cycles, i noticed i was paying quite a bit more than the $99. I called verizon to explain and they said i had to call direct tv as verizon was charging the correct amount. I had no way of knowing because the bill was too confusing. I called direct tv and they told me i had to notify them within 2 weeks of the special deal or i had to pay the full amount.
