Bought the full blown version of AVG and the thing completely stops the whole computer while it is scanning - will completely disrupt everything when it decides all by itself to come on. I do a normal scan every few days with updates all along but this thing will come on all by itself when I am using the computer - everything locks up and I loose all. No help nor real contact info from AVG or help. Now the cumbersome scan is something that can only be identified by a swirling bar in the task bar icon (maybe a rootkit scan) - not your regular scan and by the way I do cut off my computer every day. read full review »
