Is it just me? I have been a Dish Network customer for many years and have gone through three generations of receivers, (SD, HD & HDDVR). I have never had any type of Dish receiver that didn't develop some kind of problem requiring the unit's replacement at least once. Some were replaced multiple times. They are not used in an unusual environment. They sit on an open shelf under the TV in an air conditioned home. In my world of electronic equipment, the Dish receivers have had a terrible rate of failure while my other computers and electronics just keep humming along.
