I shipped a package (an 11" x 14" envelope) from California to Ontario Canada. I went into my local UPS office. The charge was already kinda high--$18 for non-rush delivery, but I paid it. Little did I know that they would hold the package and charge the recipient an additional $50 to deliver it! Additional fees by UPS were never disclosed to me at the time of shipping. They charge a "customs handling fee" that the recipient or myself had to pay. When I argued the charge, and my recipient balked, they wanted $30 to ship it back... read full review »
