We canceled our subscription 2 years ago, and each year, they continue to charge the card on file (which we can't just cancel as it's tied to a lot of other legitimate charges.) When I called to get a refund, they had no problem giving it back, like they expected the call, with no questions asked. The same thing happened last year. My sense is they just keep charging unethically and the onus is on the ex-customer to catch it, then waste their time to request a refund.
