I have spoken with 4 people from Consumers Energy today, regarding property at 3333 regency Lake orion MI 48359 I called on 1/13 to have services transferred into our name. They would not let me take ownership of the property earlier than 1/18, because the former owner called on 1/11 to have services transferred out of their name on 1/17.
