I purchased a Thermo Spas Hot Tub in 2000. They claim that they pre-test all spas before they ship them, meaning they fill them up with water and run them. When my spa arrived I filled it and started running it, the plumbing was leaking so I had to shut it down, drain it and place a heater inside the frame to keep things warm (it was January in Chicago) until a technician showed up a couple of days later.
