In December 2008, I was called by a representative of Dish Network and advised there was a special of $39.99 a month plus taxes for 12 months. No contract required, no installation charges, etc. I repeated this information several times and each time was assured that was the correct amount. When my first bill came, I was charged $100 installation fee and $100 no contract fee.
