I purchased an HP laptop which was against my better judgment as I had previously purchased an HP desktop that never performed up to par from the beginning but I was assured by the sales person that the notebooks were of good quality. Seven months later the laptop simply stopped working, can't bring anything up on the screen, technical assistance says it's the processing unit and had me send it in for their "HP Total Care" warranty coverage.
