I had purchased a remote car starter for a 2003 Toyota Camry, in addition to the installation. It was a Christmas gift for my girlfriend. The total for the starter and installation was just under $200. When she went to get it installed a month and a half later the shop called her and said we would have to pay another $50 because it was made in Canada and had a transponder.
