I bought this '04 Nissan Armada from this dealership in Van NUys and owned it still up to now. I only put under 32k miles on it and babied this truck eversince i got it. It is totally clean undercarrieage, engine bay, outside and interior. It's a seven years old truck and is always kept in a garage under a roof. I recently brought my 2010 Mercury Mariner to Torrington Ford because my air bag light had come on. My car has never been in an accident so this should have been an easy fix or reset. In having to bring my car in 2 separate times I was given nothing but smoke and mirrors by the service department. I had a recall notice in the mail for my 2003 Toyota Tacoma that my truck needed to have a frame replacement done on it. I scheduled an appointment to take my truck over to drop-off for this to be done which I was told would only take 2 months to complete. It took them 6 months to complete this 3 times longer than they quoted me because of certain workers were there to tell me why it was being pushed back and why it was taking so long to have the parts come in. I rented a car from this company 24th Januaryto February 7th, I was also charged the deposit of 750 pounds and the decuction was made from my credit card. Upon returning back to Canada it was approx 4 weeks before I was refunded, this after several emails sent to them. Approx two weeks later my credit card was deducted 80 pounds. Purchased a car privately end of nov, went to change breakdown cover and was advised that the rac do warranty too. After a chat i decided to take out said warranty. On the 16/12 the gearbox went.I had it recovered to a GEARBOX SPECIALISTS who diagnosed the fault as 6th gear synchro and that its not common place. We purchased a new F250 from Greg and Kevin at Loman Ford yesterday. We worked on a price and traded in our 2005 F250 and they faxed us several contracts (which I have copies of). They applied the appropriate rebates to the contracts and x-plan (from Ford due to problems with our 2005). After dealing with the worst high deceptive salesman in Nebraska we ended up with a car not as described. The big advantage feature was Multi-Disk Cd with Blue Tooth and SIRIUS Satellite Radio according to the salesman. I did not have the time to try and set it up with the phone or check out the multi Cd option for several days after bringing it home. The wife had it at work. When I did it was discovered we had a single Cd player with no options. Had my car serviced by 86th Chevrolet in Brooklyn Ny and when I picked it up after 5 days it had 1682.00 worth of damage to it. Called Gm customer service and they did nothing! Gm roadside assistance who towed my car did nothing- no help no resolve had to put a claim in on my own insurance to get it fixed. Chevy *** their customer service *** and Gm roadside assistance ***! When asked, Sarna Auto said it does not matter, and refused to talk about it, now they answer in a most rude manner, and do not pick up the phone. I purchased a 2007 Chrysler 300 in November 2006. The car was financed for 60 months and at the closing an additional charge was added to cover any addional uncovered warranty. I later found out the warranty increased my payment by nearly 200 dollars per month. The dealer informed me of the hazzard of canceling ( before the warranty ran out) this additional cost and would not help in doing so. Two years ago I was told to come get my bike from the shop because they were done working on it and it was ready to go. In the holding bay I got on it and tipped it up and gas ran out the air cleaner into a large puddle on the floor, once that stopped I rolled it ahead out of the puddle and hit the starter and the bike would not turn over. I took it to Acura of Ocean hoping they would provide good honest service(major mistake) They told me that I needed new clutch assembly with flywheel because it was burnt and flywheel had cracks. So, on the 20th which was a Saturday, so I called Troy to inform him that I would be calling on Monday to pay $400 for the month of March he said it was fine. But on the 21st Troy they sent somebody to my house telling me that he was to confiscate the vehicle for failure to pay. DO NOT BUY YOUR VEHICLE FROM BERTERA I purchased a car from Bertera and brought it back to them twice WITHIN 30 days. Each time they said nothing was wrong with it and told me to bring it to Toyota, "they would say the same thing". So I brought it to Toyota and at the time I brought it to them it went over 30 days. Good Sam is not paying per the contract terms and the so called review board ignore the facts in order to deny the claim. I had several relays and modules on my Essex fail. We ordered and installed the parts and got the system working again. They sent out a local adjuster and it was agreed by the adjuster that is was not a good idea and not required to put the bad modules and relays back into the system to prove they were not working.
