We rented a car trough the internet via Transavia and pre-payed it at home with iDeal. Arriving at the desk of Holiday Cars at Gatwick Airport we found that they did not give us the car before we gave our creditcard. We do not own a creditcard so we did not get our car. We pre-payed euro 234, 00 with iDeal. If we wanted another car we had to pay again for the rent of the car and an additional 250 pounds for surety. I am so upset with this dealership. they took advantage of the fact that i am a woman with a baby that needed a car bad. they sold me a lemon. I was purchased a car, Nissan Sunny, model Ex-Saloon 2008 at Alexandria - Egypt. On 40000 Km the car motor starts to shutdown while driving, when the problem was found, Nissan Service Centre at Alex advised that the problem is due to motor braid ( dhafira in arabic ) is defective & they recommend to be changed under guarantee base, the same was already ordered as per them.. AV Ford claims they were not responsible for engine seize 2 blks after leaving from an oil change. They were willing to give me $1000 on a trade or $200 from a salvage yard. I found a mechanic that would put in a used engine for $1000 and asked Apple Vally Ford to split the cost. They declined and I so asked for them to tow the car back to my mechanic. Went in with ad flier received in the mail. The flier had two items that turned out to be LIES from these slime balls that don't deserve to stay in business. We booked a 9-seater minibus for our holiday in the UK in December 2010. This was confirmed with reservation number TRZ412986 and we paid a deposit of GBP400. On 22 December 2010 we cancelled the minibus (Tony from LC Van Rental's suggestion) because they could only offer us a 7-seater van as the 9-seater were "snowed in at Manchester" and we wanted collection of the 9-seater in Wakefield. Long story short, we cancelled the minibus on 22 December 2010 on the phone with Tony and followed it up with an e-mail on the same day. When I picked the car up I was told that I had to leave a 750 pound security deposite, refundable on return of the car without damage. According to the web site this amount should have just been held against my credit card, not debited. Sent an ECU to this so-called company after speaking to the "main guy" Alan. He told me he could definitely repair my ECU if there was a fault found on the unit so I sent it down. It's a standard Vauxhall Astra 1.7D Isuzu ECU with the dry joints, very easy repair as I've done a few myself but I was far too busy to take this job on so I had my customer deliver the part to Alan to carry out the repair.
