I am the second owner of a 2004 Kia Optima that I purchased on 2/4/06. I had a 5 year or 60, 000 mile warranty. My engine started to make a rattling noise when I started it up cold so I took it into a Kia dealership on 10/30/06 with 18, 979 miles on it. I own a 1999 Eurovan with a Winnebago conversion. The van is a good van, the Winnebago conversion is total trash. I will never recommend a VW Eurovan with a Winnebago conversion. Extremely poor quality. So poor you almost have to try to be that poor. Profits over delivering a quality product... its the American way!!!. This place is a big rip off .. went in to get my inspection done .. was told I needed services that I did not need to pass inspection. If I had done what they had told me needed to be done at their cost, it would have cost me close to 800 - 1000 bucks. I have two Freightliner Cascadia and the Rack and Pinions are crap. There has been a recall on them but even when replaced they are failing and its a fight to get Freightliner to do anything. Recently I have had a second one fail and the response I am getting is that its within tolerances. I went up to purchase a truck April 3rd after looking at it on Monday Mar 30. There was an ad in an Auto magazine listing the price as $4995 with a Manchester NH address (Downtown Auto Sales). I took my car for an oil change on 5/26/11 to Monroe Muffler and before rotating tires I was told that the left rear tire was uneven due to the belt inside shifting therefore making making the inside of the tire worn. I was told it was a defective tire and I might want to take it to wherever the tires were purchased and see if it was under warranty. I purchase a new Caravelle in December from Trisec Autohouse. When I got the vechile they promised me that the carpets will still come and must first use the old carpets. I discover that the airbag light also stays on suggesting an error. The DVD system in the vehicle, done by a third party for VW has been done totally unprofessional, leaving wires everywhere and causing unbearable rattles. Purchased vehicle for my pregnant wife and dealer stated car was in exceptional condition. The next day, the vehicles air bag light came on and would not go off. Took the vehicle to a mechanic and stated the air bag impact sensor was broken which would result in the air bag not deploying in an accident. We bought an Audi A4 1.9 TDI from Dealer - Retoria Motors. KMS: ±129000kms. When i wanted to book the vehicle for a service at Audi Menlyn, they told me that this vehicle already had its 150 000KM service in 2008!! I did spoke to orginal owner (a Dr Strydom), they told me that they traded the vehicle in on ± 180 000kms. I'm not willing to speak to the dealer. Just want to warn people about Sears service Dept.(AUTO) Wilmington N.C, I went to Sears was going to let them change my oil in my BMW until when i asked the person(male) to check my oil in my car, his response was that the only way he could check the oil was to drain all the oil out! Im not that stupid you dont drain the oil out to check it. So tell me where do you find these people? No telling what they would have done if i had actually let them change the oil maybe take the engine out for an oil change. Unreal! So i hope this information will be usefull to others.
