On December 15, 2005, I purchase a brand new 2006 307 peugeot hatchback 5 seater car from the company Island Motors Limited, Jamaica. Six Month later on Tuesday, June 27, 2006, while I was driving the car in the vicinity of Golden Spring, St. Andrew. The service department at the dealership told me I needed parts and services that I did not actually need. In February I brought my truck in for a recall repair. I saw an 18 month lease on a Mazda 3 5 door at 219 a month. I called to verify and was told it was available. I walked in, was shown the car and given the forms to fill. 30 minutes into my visit, I was told it was a misprint and its a 48 months lease. I was offered a 24 mo lease at 304 a month.

The Corolla Verso and the Prius models both use the same kind of electronic key which has two separate functions : to start the engine and to open and close the door locks.

The attendant on duty- Sam according to my receipt- at this gas station was incompetent and abrasive. I was using a company Fleet card, entered the information in the pump, and got ready to fuel. I'm from NJ and don't have much experience pumping my own gas, and I couldn't figure out why the gas wasn't pumping, so I called him over for assistance. Ordered a single part months ago and have yet to receive a working part after 5 attempts! All I needed was a window switch for a 2004 Nissan Titan.
First switch sent was the wrong one. It was for a King Cab, not a crew cab. We sent a picture to him and it still was wrong.
Second switch sent, for a crew cab, but it was for the wrong year and wasn’t even close to what we sent him in a picture that he asked us to send again.

I bought a pre-owned Honda Ridgeline from Coggin Toyota in late July and what I thought was an extended warranty (5 yr / 60k mile) from an outfit called Fidelity Warranty Services. After getting home to read the 6-page FWS contract and research the company, I immediately contacted the dealership and cancelled the contract. Chevrolet Uplander and Brian (last name was never released to me.) Every time an issue came up with my 2005 Uplander, which I purchased new, my warranty seemed to run out. Every response I got in return was rude and made me never want a Chevrolet again or to work with this dealership. I bought the vehicle from Broome Chevrolet at the time and have nothing but good things to say about them. But, this Uplander was built with what seems no testing, the car is too heavy for the brakes and after 5 years of owning the vehicle, the interior parts are all falling apart. Last month we rented a car at Heathrow airport from Avis. The rental was for 10 days. On the third day a reperesentative called checking wheter we still had the car. They charged my friend $2400 for a 100, 000 warranty.
While I bought mine from another dealership (same car) and they only charged $1650 for a 125, 000 mile warranty... for the same car.
That is sad that they would actually pass that much of a markup for a lesser product. The other dealership made profit, but they didn't way overcharge their customers.
If they really believed in customer service, they would charge everyone the same price, not wait to see if unknowing people would pay so much more. That is taking advantage of someone. read full review »

Bought a new 2008 snowmobile from yamaha and from the start it was way too load and they wouldn't do anything about it unless I payed to have them tear the engine down while still on warranty. Noise worsened over time with still no success from Yamaha motors. Later spent hundreds for tear down of tunnel/exhaust nothing found. Later engine blew apart with only 2400 miles. There again they said I would have to pay for tear down and I did otherwise they wouldn't even consider warranty. Would not recommend Chip’s Auto Repair of Carrollton as a mechanic. I was looking to buy a used car and I took a Honda Accord I was interested in to have Chip’s Auto Repair check it out. I asked them also to fix the windshield, a wheel Bering and paint the entire car and clear coat it. They quoted me a price of 1800 dollars. After they told me the car was ready.
