The vehicle suffered a mechanical failure in the form of engine rocker arm mounting bolts pulling out of the head. (Dreaded 3.4 v-6) Agreed to have them repair it. Later, while adding windshield washer fluid, I noticed a reflection from the engine compartment that ultimately proved to be the remaining shaft of a coolant bleeder screw where the hex head had been sheared off. My Grandson was in an accident and was towed by Guardian Towning at 7945 Arjons Dr San Diego, CA, who was called by the CHP. This occured on a Sunday, so I called on Monday to see if we could trade the title for the tow and storage. they agreed to do so and I gave them my fax number to send an agreement stating this was agreeable and they said they would. I called back on Thursday to find out when the fax would be sent and was told that it wouldn't be and that the car had already been liened! This is just 4 days after the tow! After a long search for the car of my dreams, Empire Auto popped up with a killer deal. I called ahead and printed out my dream car. Upon arrival the atmosphere was sketchy...I triple checked my locks. Attempting to find a sales person was grueling and they couldn't locate the vehicle! I purchased a 2008 Ford F 350 from Baystate ford to export to Canada. The truck had 26000mi when I purchased it. Beware of this gas station. they do state inspections, and offer to repair any "problems" found. Today the Inspector told me that my front brakes were "completely gone." Of course, they offered to fix the brakes there. Dare I say " used to be"? Used to be one could buy good quality tires at a resonable price at CTC. Now the good old BFG manufactured AW series tire is imported from China. Our recently purchased CTC SE tires, made in Chile would you believe, have gone out of round. Yes..all four in varying degrees, the best being 1/4", the worst being 1/2".
