When I bought the car from them, the check engine light was on he told me he was going to fix it leave a deposit & come tom. it will be fixed. The nxt. day light was off, but a few hrs. later it was back on. Called him & he said bring the car to him, same thing happened. Called him again, again the same thing. This is the last time I will ever use the auto centre for anything. I went at the opening time 7:30 a.m. on Saturday to get my oil/filter change and emissions test. 30 minutes later, nothing happening. One fellow said, he would be there shortly, but disappeared. I looked outside and then saw a very angry customer complaining to the Service Manager who just brushed him off. The man came inside and demanded the head of the store, who eventually came. I have a 2003 Chevrolet 2500 HD pickup with the 6.6 Duramax diesel engine. At 35, 000 mi the fuel injectors went bad and they were replaced under warrenty. The injectors carry a 7yr 200, 000 mi warrenty. At 81, 000 and 6 yrs, only 46, 000 from the first replacement, the injectors went bad again. I took the vehicle to a dealer and they charged me $190 to inspect and tell me what was wrong. They stated my injectors were bad but not covered under the warrenty??? I bought my pontiac vibe back in 2005. Since then, there were little problems here and there. Before the lease ended, the windshield was leaking during rainy days so I took it to the fix. During the lease, they provided a courtesy car and the moment we took it there, they immediately called us the day after. After the lease ended, there was no courtesy car. I took my driveshaft to Roving Auto to have the u-joint replaced. It's a simple job and they quoted a price of $45. They said it would only take a half hour so I decided to wait. I stood at some distance but I could clearly see the technician working the driveshaft first with a pneumatic press and then with a big hammer. A few minutes later, he called me over to show me the huge crack in the yoke. He said he would send it out to have it repaired at no cost to me. We rented an suv to take to baja. They were very nice when we checked out the vehicle. Upon returning the vehicle they were rude and discourteous. They failed to complete the vehicle check in process. The vehicle was moved to the back of the business as we were told that there was damage to the vehicle. We were never allowed to see the vehicle again. Pictures provided by the company do not show damage. In my opinion GUNTHER VW has committed fraud for the following reasons: On 11/20/07 I purchased a 2005 Honda Accord from Barry Gunther. We were told t drop off our rental at a designated location and time, we were there earlier and the office had closed and would not be open again till Monday, this was a Saturday. On approx. May 16, 2009, my vehicle was stolen from my apartment complex. The person that stole the car took the keys from my apartment door that were mistakenly left in the door while I was bringing in bags and my son. 1 year ago I purchased an Audi A4 from these guys... what a mistake. The car had 45, 000 miles on it at the time. Within the first 2 months I was already having it serviced; luckily under the official Audi Warranty. A couple months passed- I had to replace a coil pack- okay, no big deal those go out. i when to autozone on yonker store 5288. the manager and employee had no customer service skill. as a female driver i was told to go to autozone and by battery that they would it on for me. it was raining but lite rain the sun was out. but i was told that theycould not help me, and when the manager came out he was rude because he saw that he was wrong. at the end with a nasty attitude he told his employee to help me and they both left without letting me know what was going to happen next after 20 minutes i just left. i do not recommend that location to anyone. i am going further with this complaint. thanks. read full review »

this lot is horrible. They have no personnel skills, errors in the recordkeeping, and theyare rude and nasty. They came to repo my truck-twice stating I was late on payments; however, they could not tell me when I missed a payment or even the last time I paid. i purchased two cars from the dealership signed a contract which clearly stated that the contract was legally binding on both parties and i duly paid the deposit on both cars. The salesman kept ringing me at home and sending me sms to my cell phone asking me to sms him my credit card details to his personal phone, i refused to do this. Ordered chome wheels for a SL500, gave them the sizes and asked to make sure they were certified Merceds wheels. After they sent me picutes of the wheels my car needs, I ordered what they said I needed. The wheels came not certified, some off the wall cheap wheel with no lug nuts. I spend hours on hold and no one would every help me. This company is a big rip off and I have the proof of all e-mails that they are 100% wrong and do not honor what they sell. I put my car in the shop at Mike Smith Nissan on Friday 26th June 2009. I was told that they had to put a thermostatat in my car before they could tell me what was wrong. They kept my car all weekend and promise to call me on monday after they tested because the thermostat was not the solution but that would coast me $325.00.
