I signed up online with Roommate Express in Sept 2007, using my debit card, used their services for two months, no luck in finding a roommate. Forward to April 2008 i found out Roommate Express charged my debit card without my knowledge, consent or authorization. I subscribed for couple of channels with the company, all the sudden the company added more channels to my account without my consent and charged my credit card. Since, then I tried to contact the company, but no phone number on the website and you contact only via email that looks invalid as I emailed many times with no respond. I recieved a phone call at work. They had a strong Indian accent. Telling me a company had filed legal charges against me. They said they wanted to help me resolve this legal matter.
