I went to LTI 2006-2007 with the promise of a career in the auto industry making a good salary at graduation as well as reasonable loans and state of the art training. Through the time I was there none of the training aids were ever in working condition. I got accepted to AIA and was so excited. I did not do my homework until about a year in. By that I mean I did not research reviews and their success rating. We had our child in this nursery school for 1 year. The fees are exorbatent, the kids get fed very small portions. They claim to be a christian nursery school, but all they are worried about it increasing the funds into the school - of which there is nothing to show for all the money they collect. This dance studio is clearly all about money. Money to sign up every year, monthly dues, costume dues, recital dues, last minute adds for recital. After three years of never being late on a payment, and having to cancel membership because of hardship, they demand even more money for not attending!!! My son has been sent a notice that he has a balance due after 10 years when this school took my parent loan when he dropped out of the school the first week of the semester. The school refuses to send his transcripts to the new school until this amount is paid which is $750. I had paid over $6000. in full and they should be paying me back for the balance of the money that my son did not use which is illegal. I have experienced shady practices used by the State National Training Service. I attended the seminar and believed that my chances of getting a higher grade on the test for a Federal or State job would be better if I signed up for the course. Paperwork read that I was to make $15 an hour, which guaranteed $30 a week at the high school, plus some private tutor sessions provided by the veteran tutor. Well not only was the contact person a bad speller (hello, we're supposed to be TUTORS), but rather unresponsive to emails, phone calls, and texts. She sent me on a private tutoring session only to get a text when I arrived that it was cancelled. After working for 6 weeks, I got only one check for a quarter of the hours I worked.
