Do NOT buy anything from the-dvdshop.com. I ordered the Flamingo Road series from him in May 2008, he took my money and I never received it. BEWARE!... I used Paypal for the transaction and tried their resolution center. I thought I was covered and would get my money back. They ruled in my favor but were unable to refund my money, saying "were unable to recover any funds from the seller's account". I applied for the Uverse services from AT&T. I have had cell phone service with them since they first took over Cingular. I have over $200 in cell and data services for my two sons and myself. I found that when I had moved I had an old home phone cell bill so paid that $69 bill that I was told was outstanding in order to get service. I was lead to believe that I would get a 1000 dollar shopping spree and all I would have to pay is the shipping cost. The items available are not worth the price of shipping. We were schedules to have a birthday cake served to my spouse for his 50th birthday and they served it another table. Those people BEING of diversed ages to 70 or so. Ate it no questions. The bakery dept is really dirty. The manager stated he fired all the ex employees, but kept some that had been there a while. They don't know what they are doing and the place is filthy. The pans seem to never get washed, the glass cases are dirty and i heard the fry vat, proofer and exhaust system was torn up and the sprayer for the cakes. They have put charges on my credit card even after I changed the card number. I have ask them to stop and they do not same to understand the word stop. you can talk to them for a hour and they will not stop. I am 62 years old and I don't need to have a magazine to bring up my 2 year old or how to dress a 17 year old girl since I don't have a girl in the first place. When T.V. stations started putting their logo in the lower right corner of the screen, apparently to stop video pirating, I didn't have a problem with it. But as with most jerk-offs they couldn't stop there. Some stations are respectful and have a transparent logo. See through white lettering works fine. Others have gone completely mad with their logo. Roger's Video told me I could return a video game accessory if unopened. I was buying it as a gift and was not sure if the recipient already had one. When I tried to return it, they would only exchange it for the exact same item. To make it worse, they told me to come back in a week when the manager was in. Yikes. I've been a loyal and happy customer for many years, but they really (REALLY) bungled a recent shipment. Rather than boring you with all the detail, let me just suggest that if you use them, be sure to check the package-tracking website repeatedly to ensure that shipments really HAVE been shipped -- it seems that their shipment notification emails are by no means accurate. The funny (but not really) thing is that this would have been a very easy problem to fix, had it not been for further ineptitude in their response (i.e., ignoring repeated follow-up emails). Ugh. I bought a subscription on Ebay from Superior Subscriptions. I waited the 9 to 12 weeks they said it would take for my subscription to start, but now it has been 15 weeks and nothing. They took my money, or should I say stole my money. I paid for this through Paypal. I filed a complaint with them but they wouldn't do anything. This *** me off. I ordered several TV series on DVD. The discs do not play... in some cases, my DVd player gives the message 'bad disc'. In all the other cases, after twenty minutes playing, the discs will not play, or become pixilated and will play no further. I reserved bottle service for a night out with my friends on my credit card. I told them many times that we will be paying cash. The server, hostess and all other attendants confirmed over and over again that there wouldn't be any problems. At the end of the night, I paid them $300 cash including a $50 tip. What a place. My family and I sat down to eat on 4th of July Weekend and totally got ignores. After waiting 1 hour and being told numerous times by the owner that the food was coming right out, it never did and we gave up. What is really going on is that the restaurant is used to try to recruit investors as they are trying to go nationwide with the bakery. My server Abraham did not bring out appetizer as ordered, it was sent back and I waited for 20 minutes for it to be brought out again. There is absolutely no sense thinking you are going to get lucky at Twin Swamp. Just like they loosened up those machines when they opened the new room last year, they have tightened them down as much as they can to try to "stay open." The place will never close as it brings in a ton of cash. The state is far too greedy at 61% of the take and the real cause for "failure". Hello, I recently ordered a dvd from Store4.com on 1st June 2008. The company took the payment of £14.95 GBP from my bank account on 3rd June 2008. It is now 7th July 2008 and I still haven't received my dvd. I have tried to contact the company but they do not have a telephone number! I have also sent the company about 5 emails to 3 different departments within their company and they have FAILED to respond to any of them! Apparently Macaroni Grill has decided to save money on their dishwashing because the silverware, glasses and plates are being used so dirty that you can actually see old dried food on them. I complained to the manager and was told that since most people don't look that carefully and hence don't notice, he "did not see a problem." I even filled out the customer satisfaction form to let their corporate office know and all that got was a $10 coupon to encourage me to try their restaurant again. Kids and stopped to dine in at Zaxby's Restaurant in Montgomery, AL. I ordered a Chicken Salad. I felled something unusual in my mouth. You wouldn't believe it was a flat toothpick, very soft. My sister who is almost 70 decided to let Directv install satellite TV in her home. She then had to move and gave me the equipment to return. I tried to get them so send me the return box, but was told that it was THEIR POLICY that it must be sent to the original address, The new renters finally gave me the return box and I returned it. My 16 year old daughter bought a dress at Cache and used her visa debit card. All of a sudden we started receiving an US magazine. We went down to the store and told them to stop this right away. They said it would be taken care of. When the authorization posted to my daughter's checking account I started to call American Choice Reader and either received a busy signal or was told they were closed.
