When I first spoke to Verizon concerning have this company as my telephone, internet and cable provider, I was never told that their "cable" was Direct-TV. At installation I found myself with a dish on my home. I searched Amazon for some DVDs, and found them on an Amazon sponsored site called WWW.TVDVD.net. I ordered the DVDs and finally received them from CHINA. They were poor copies and for all practical purposes unuseable. I sent back their customer service form and was told they would be glad to replace the discs, but gave no instructions. I wrote again and received the SAME response, still with no instructions. I repeated the process with the same result. I've now taken the hint, and expect no relief from TVDVD. Ticket Cabana stole my money! I bought Red Sox tickets 3 months before the game from a seller on ebay called ticket cabana. This person appeared to be a legit seller, so when the tickets had not arrived, I calmly messaged the seller. He insisted they were coming until the reimbursement window through ebay expired. Two months ago I purchased a brand new Samsung 19' HDTV with the "no hassle" replacement plan. I was told by the sales associate that if I had any problems, I bring it in the store and they give me a BRAND NEW one. On 12/15/2007 subscriptions for 3 different magazines were made, MagHeaven immediately charging my credit card at that time. Each recipient was mailed a gift subscription card announcing they would be receiving a years subscription to a magazine. Caveat Emptor if you evaluate this 'freeware'. I downloaded the 30-day trial software and locked a few files. After the trial period, I went to delete the program and I was unable to unlock my files. The only solution was to purchase the full version of the program. These people are ridiculous! It has taken about 10-15 phone calls over a 3 week period (and still counting) to try and get my TV repaired. It seems this is one of Best Buy's repair companies for electronics in the DC area. The problem is they don't answer the phones. and they always need to check with someone and call you back. We have been there before many of times, and the service was okay. They usually don't care where you sit at. But somehow they have gotten rude about it when we were there on Thursday, May 22, 2008, around 4 pm. I purchased goal achieving cds and books from Jim Driscoll. He never sent them. He received full payment. I spoke with him 3 times and we exchanged emails. He assured me that there was a mix up and that he would take care of the problem. On 5/8/08 at 6:56pm I called Safe Auto at 1-800-723-3288 about an insurance quote. I worked with Beverly Rainey a Sales Rep. She quoted policy number MO00007230A-00 for a 6 month term of $371.00.
