I have given the complaint regarding my 29" LG TV not functioning in the company authorized service center. They promised me to send the person on dated 07 th June 08. I had problems from day one with this x-box doesn't work. Have the time don't want to send it back, now i just don't shut it off or it will red light. Went thru the drive thru noticed, no syrup no butter. Had to wait in line 10 min, food was cold, by this time asked for hot ones. Had to wait 15 min longer, asked for manager, told her what happened, asked for a refund. When i entered the drive-thru there was a sign saying intercom was broken to place order at window, so i proceeded to window. Another car already there so i waited. I noticed the server leaning out the window talking to the person in car but not taking an order, talking like boy-friend girl-friend, the server noticed i was there continued to talk. The product I received did not come in the displayed, and advertised box set but rather were 30 burnt copies in 2 video tape boxes. I made a phone call to Electroni Arts with regard to this Club Pogo Account. An account that was set up in my name and money was deducted from my checking account monthly. I do not have a computer at home and cannot access games on my computer during the day, my company does not allow this. I ordered exercise DVDs from this company because of TV advertising. The order was put through on my Amex in Dec for $149 then partially credited in Feb $137.65 and 2 aditional charges on the same bill for $31.45 and $40.89 I never received the DVDs - they said delivery for Canada would be up to 8 weeks - so by the time I complained to American Express I was too late to file a complaint. I have twice received and been billed for Bottom Line Yearbooks from this company with no way to conveniently deny or return these books. They bill you and send no way to even get in touch with them. I bought a blue and white diamond ring from Gems TV and they say that they have a 30 day money back guarantee if you leave the tag on it. They also tell you to wear it and see if you like it. Well I wore it for a few days and sent it back before the 30 days with the tag still on it and I find a return and it is them sending it back to me because the tag is worn. On 5/31/08 I purchased a game from SpinTop Games called Mystery P.I.-The Vegas Heist for their price of $19.99. They sent me an email receipt with this amount stipulated as the total I was to be charged. I was charged $20.59, an overcharge of 60 cents. Teen came to my home to solicit magazines. Cost me 46.00 for 2 year subscription plus 12.00 processing fee. This was on Oct. 15, 2007. As of this date, I have not received magazine. I signed up for the triple play. Converted my internet and phone service. It was a couple hundred dollars to do this. I agreed to the terms for one year. I have one cablebox, for premium channels, the remainder of the tv's are directly hooked up to cable and receive basic service. My complaint is that I had to Wait more than 30 seconds on hold. Although this is much better than most other companies I have shopped with I believe that companies should hire enough people to answer the phones right away. I just tried to buy from Video Direct Ft Lauderdale Florida. I have never seen such a lack of customer service in my life. I placed my order and sent my money (not done via credit card). I couldn't get a receipt. I couldn't get a written acknowledgment of my order. I asked for a copy of the order to be emailed and they weren't capable of that. I received a RCA RD1076A MP3 Player.The warranty should be with you some where. Anyway it is one that steps on your wrist. We have downloaded the disk, e-mailed RCA/THOMPSON, tried to make phone calls and have heard nothing back. The problem is there is no directions that came with the unit and there are no directions on the disk. I feel that I have just been hit by a major scam, as I have read that others with similar types are having the same types of problems with there's.
