On Monday June 1 I received a sales call from StoneBridge Life. I asked them not to call anymore. They told me I would be put on the Do Not Call list. I also tracked down how they got my number. These people claim to be able to give you information and support to fight unsecured debt which they basically claim is all illegal. They say they will give you legal forms and advice that will eliminate your credit card and other unsecured debt. All they do is email you generic forms with complicated wording and expect you to be able to fill them out correctly. I just want to see if anyone else has this problem. I've been getting phone calls from strange numbers from different states ... some from Nevada, some from Maryland and California and other random states. They say they are going to mail a kit. Should receive it in 1-5 days and you have a 7 day trail period to cancel. The kit is 1.95. They never sent the kit; charge me for and 5 days later before the trail period is up they charged me 39.95. Plus I had cancelled them right away. They will not refund my account. Ordered the advertised 5ft Muskegee Crape Myrtle. Received a bundle of 5 pencil thin twigs coming out of a ball that including the ball (18 inches) was 5ft. Called company to return but there is a no return policy. Managed to receive $20 discount in return. Off of $99 it is still expensive. 3 months later still a twig but with some leaves.
