I have received a call from 866-463-3020. It sounded odd to be since I have been a customer of Sprint for over 5 years now. I don't beleive Sprint-Nextel would do this to their customers. I think it is odd people out to either get customers mad at Sprint-Nextel or just get people mad and we get mad and cost ourself money by changing our service to another company. I really think it is sad we have so many sick people in this world. What can Sprint-Nextel do about sick people out using their name and making phone calls? There is a group in Colorado that is placing thousands of harassing (abandoned) calls to consumers. Basically, they'll call you up to 20 times per day as part of a telemarketing effort which they are paid for by Sylvan, DeVry, Global Knowledge, CCI, Florida Metro University, etc. What they do, they can do legally for 30 days - so be prepared for a lot of harassment. The number call me 11 times in one day, never left a message. When I called the number, it was continually busy. The following day when they called I answered. Apparently its a marketing firm for student loan consolidation. They got my number from the credit bureau. The person with whom I conversed spoke very poor English in an Asian accent. I rely on sending my work out through Click N Ship because standing in line at the post office is just as bad. At the present time I have racked up approximately $148.50 in unprinted labels because their website just freezes up. What this amounts to is 9 times I tried to get the postage and it froze up and the 10th time it worked. BUT THEY DID MANAGE TO CHARGE MY ACCOUNT EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! My complaint is against Monitronics Security. I had a contract with them in Mississippi with a system the builder had hard wired into the house. I was transfered from Mississippi to Illinois through work only 1 year into my 3 year contract. After 4 phone calls and finally speaking to a manager I learned the only way to cancel the contract, whether you have a house to monitor or not is to buy out that contract. I filed a complaint with the BBB against a BBB member, Palm Harbor Homes; and the BBB closed my case due to the Palm Harbor sales manger lieing to them and telling them my house was completed when it was not. I informed the BBB of the dates after Palm Harbor had told them my home was "completed" that PH came to work on my house working toward completing it; also of the 14 non-compliance items the state inspector cited Palm Harbor for after Palm Harbor had told the BBB it was completed. The initial site allows you to (for example)search police records for a specific individual. It indicates there is information on the database regarding police records for that person; however, you can only access it if you are a member. Subsequently, if you really want that information you decide to become a member and pay the one time fee for unlimited access to information. I became a member.
