I took the CERT training in 2010. I felt while the training is very cool and a great way to learn how to help others. I felt that the instructors did not know what they were talking about. It really was like they woke up one morning and said let's do this. The instructors had little background in the material they were teaching. It would be nice if they had people who knew what they were talking about or at least knew the material from the manuals they were using.
